A place not many have traveled; a place in a far off region of the world that many only dream about. I go there, in my dreams, in my thoughts, to that place, high above the sea, toward the peak of the mountain.
I dream of Mount Terra, place of dreams, place of mystery.

Creation Time: 25+ hours (mainly land formation and a great deal of texture and lighting)
Render Time: 22 minutes (1600x1200 resolution)
Print: Will decide if the want is high enough.
I hope you all enjoy this as I enjoyed creating it. I was seriously thinking of that (the story) when I was working on this.
The clouds are a bit more than a tad too bright. The rest is wonderful. One thing i like about Terragen is the realism of the landscape. But i think the resolution is a bit too large...1024x768 works perfect. A pic this large, if saved for a desktop, is going to get downsized anyway simply because the 2 favorite display resolutions are 800x600 and 1024x768. I think that would help the clouds too, as they are slightly pixelated. BravO on the landscape and the shadows eminating from the sun rays.

Very nice texture- and lighting work here, *aleks. I agree with ~ fleshfail though, the 3D-clouds make the clouds too bright.
Apart from that it's awesome, and 1600x1200 is the perfect resolution just because it's getting downsized. If I wanted to use this as wallpaper and it was only 1024x768 I'd have a problem, because I'm using 1280x1024 and it'd get all pixelated. 1600x1200 is perfect. End of story.
-- But how come I want you, like the soil yearns for the rain?
Very nice lighting... hmmm love that one big ray
The texture work is great too.. maybe a little too much brown in some of them hmmmm.... i dunno tho.
Class stuff as always man.
